Written proof that power is safe — not ‘he said it is off’

This is the call that ends Training Shift 01. It is also a real call. People get hurt when ‘power is off’ lives only in speech.

The rule

Do not start. Wait for written proof that power and services are made safe. Looking at the board yourself is still not that document.

Checklist

• Written isolation or certificate in the job folder.
• Who issued it, date, what is covered (power, water, gas as relevant).
• Who on your crew confirmed they read it.
• If it is missing: the machine does not start.

What we will not do

We will not treat a photo of a switch as clearance. DemDesk can hold the document with custody. A licensed person still has to issue it.
